Feminism and war in the Asia Pacific

Thursday, April 6, 2017 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Poet and translator Don Mee Choi will read from her powerful collection, Hardly War. Christine Ahn, founder of Women Cross the DMZ and co-founder of the Korea Policy Institute, will share her perspective on the current threat of war in the Asia Pacific, then engage in a conversation on feminism and war with international human rights activist Cindy Domingo and others. Moderated by writer and activist Soya Jung.

Partners include: APALA Seattle Chapter, Channel Foundation, LELO, NAPAWF Seattle Chapter, PARISOL and World Affairs Council Seattle.
